BIG DOWNLOADS….

August 16, 2009

i have been downloading programs, applications, and even games in some sites and some of them even reached to 10gb to 20gb per program. the good thing about them is that either they are in ISO form or in 7zip file. rars are too much to handle because if you have a program that is more than 1gb you can have at least 30 rar files on your computer. what more if its 20gb?

so if you encounter iso’s or 7zip file. i think its better to download those than rars. but also try to check if its real or fake plus always scan the files you are downloading. chances are you’ll have a lot of viruses in your laptop or computer and i dont think you wil like that.

so when you encounter ISO forms, it is also same priciple with rar files and you need a special application to extractr all the files inside. do not mistook the iso as a game in PSP than ISO in softwares. basically the uploader will tell if its for psp or not. so try to do a little reading about the ones you are downloading. so to continue, i extracted ISO’s with the use of magic ISO and it worked efficient, fast and easy-to-use. just look for the “magicISO” application and download it. its not a big file so dont worry then foloow these steps after you have downloaded the program.

EXTRACTING ISO’s:

1. open magic ISO

2.you will see 4 different sections in one box. the upper left is the file where your ISO file should be located and the upper right will be the files inside the ISO meanwhile the lower left will be the browse folder of your computer and the lower right will be the files inside the selected folder in the lower left.

3.go to FILE – OPEN then browse through your computer and look for the ISO file. then hit open.

4.doing this will open the ISO file on the upper right and youll be able to see the files on the upper right.

5.you can either select all the files and do a right click and extract to a certain folder or you can just drag all the files from the upper right to the lower right or lower left section of the program. in doing so, all the files will be copied and not erase on the original ISO file to a certain folder where you want it to be placed.

note: you can also use magic iso in putting all the files and burn it directly to a cd/dvd. plus there’s a whole lot more in magic ISO you can do. just fiddle around and you’ll see. in 7 zip file, most uploaders have instructions how to use and unzip them. just follow read carefully and follow instructions then youll learn. enjoy!

BURNING movies with subtitles on it

August 15, 2009

Nero doesnt have the capability of such feature. i wonder why and the sad part of it is when you wanted to burn movies with different language you just simply cant understand it and missed parts of the conversations of which you should’nt.  so i wondered and read again through the internet.

what did i find? i found an application which can do such a thing, adding subtitles and burning it on your dvd discs. i have read also some tutorials that if you want to burn videos with subtitles using nero, you have to hard coded the subtitles meaning permanently on the movie then burn the movie using Nero capabilities. and it was a long process. probably i will post it one day here. but for hte meantime the easiest way to do it is use DVD FLICK.

i manage to download it i dunno where. and tried using it for quite a while. and it was really easy.here are the steps.

BURNING MOVIES WITH SUBTITLES:

1. download dvd flick

2.after installation of the application, click the dvd flick exe file.

3.click “add title” on the far right of the application and look for the movie.

4.after the movie loads up, click edit title then select the subtitle tracks tab.

5.click add then look for the subtitle with a “.srt” file extension then click acept..please take note that the name of the movie and the name of the subtitle should be exactly the same.

6.after doing this, click create dvd and wait until it is finish then burn it in nero.

enjoy!
